  1. Themes allow you to change the look and feel of your Drupal site. You can use
  2. themes contributed by others or create your own.
  3. WHAT TO PLACE IN THIS DIRECTORY?
  4. --------------------------------
  5. Placing downloaded and custom themes in this directory separates downloaded and
  6. custom themes from Drupal core's themes. This allows Drupal core to be updated
  7. without overwriting these files.
  8. DOWNLOAD ADDITIONAL THEMES
  9. --------------------------
  10. Contributed themes from the Drupal community may be downloaded at
  11. https://www.drupal.org/project/project_theme.
  12. MULTISITE CONFIGURATION
  13. -----------------------
  14. In multisite configurations, themes found in this directory are available to
  15. all sites. You may also put themes in the sites/all/themes directory, and the
  16. versions in sites/all/themes will take precedence over versions of the same
  17. themes that are here. Alternatively, the sites/your_site_name/themes directory
  18. pattern may be used to restrict themes to a specific site instance.
  19. MORE INFORMATION
  20. -----------------
  21. Refer to the "Appearance" section of the README.txt in the Drupal root directory
  22. for further information on customizing the appearance of Drupal with custom
  23. themes.
