var normalize = require('normalize-path');
normalize('\\foo\\bar\\baz\\');
//=> '/foo/bar/baz'
normalize('./foo/bar/baz/');
//=> './foo/bar/baz'
Pass false
as the last argument to not strip trailing slashes:
normalize('./foo/bar/baz/', false);
