Check if a Buffer/Uint8Array is a GIF image

Install

$ npm install is-gif

Usage

const readChunk = require('read-chunk');
const isGif = require('is-gif');

const buffer = readChunk.sync('unicorn.gif', 0, 3);

isGif(buffer);
//=> true
